Belgium, Poland, Germany: e-invoices straight from Odoo.
Belgium requires Peppol since January 2026, Poland KSeF since February, and Germany e-invoices from 2027. Odoo sends and receives all three from the invoice screen. We set it up, test it on your own invoices and keep it current when the rules change.
What the law asks, and what Odoo does.
Between companies, the PDF by email is being replaced in all three countries by a structured e-invoice.
Peppol
Since 1 January 2026, Belgian VAT-registered companies exchange structured e-invoices with each other over Peppol. Reporting to the tax authority is planned from 2028.
- Odoo is a Peppol access point, free to send and receive
- Incoming Peppol bills land in Odoo
Since 1 Jan 2026 for B2B in Belgium
KSeF
Since February 2026 every company in Poland receives invoices through KSeF, and since April almost all issue them there. Fines start on 1 January 2027. KSeF for micro-businesses from 2027
- FA(3) invoice sent from the invoice screen
- Official receipt (UPO) saved on the invoice
- Supplier invoices fetched from KSeF
Since 1 Apr 2026 for almost every company
E-Rechnung
Every German company must be able to receive e-invoices since 2025. Issuing them becomes mandatory in 2027 above 800,000 EUR prior-year turnover, and for almost everyone in 2028.
- XRechnung and ZUGFeRD straight from Odoo
- Incoming e-invoices read into bills
From 1 Jan 2027 above 800,000 EUR turnover
Odoo Online or our module? It depends on who you invoice.
Invoices to consumers do not go through KSeF. Invoices to companies do, and there the Odoo standard falls short.
Odoo Online works well
Invoices to consumers do not have to be issued in KSeF, so Odoo Online with the standard is a good fit. We set it up and you need nothing more.
- No extra module, no extra hosting
- Supplier invoices fetched every few hours
Odoo.sh or your own server, with our module
KSeF has many functions and Odoo Online covers only the basics, so for B2B we advise against it. Our module runs on Odoo.sh or your own server, from Odoo 15, in Community and Enterprise. Built and maintained by our team.
- Any Odoo field mapped to any KSeF field
- Checked against the official schema before sending
- Every KSeF session logged for audits
Tested on your invoices before the first real one.
KSeF and Peppol both have test environments. We use them, so your customers never see a trial run. 7 KSeF problems from the first months
Three Odoo demos on invoicing.
Official Odoo videos. On the call we show the same screens with your invoices.
Questions about e-invoicing we hear most.
Longer answers on the FAQ page.
We run Odoo 16. Do we have to upgrade for KSeF?
No. Our module works from Odoo 15, in Community and Enterprise. Upgrading is a separate decision.
Does this work on Odoo Online?
Peppol, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD: yes, in the standard. KSeF: fine if you sell to consumers, because those invoices do not go through KSeF. For B2B in Poland we advise against it, because Odoo Online covers only the basics. The solution is Odoo.sh or your own server with our KSeF module.
We sell to customers in several countries. One system?
Yes. One Odoo handles KSeF, Peppol, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD side by side. Which format an invoice uses depends on your company and your customer, and we set it per customer.
Do we still need our accountant?
Yes. Odoo does not replace your accountant, it gives them clean data: every invoice in, every invoice out, without retyping.
What happens when the rules change again?
We update the setup and, for our module, the invoice mapping, so your invoicing keeps running without new code.
Bring one invoice. Watch it leave Odoo correctly.
30 minutes. Bring one real invoice, and we show you how Odoo sends it to KSeF, over Peppol or as an XRechnung.
