AI automation in Odoo

Your team retypes data by hand. AI can do that.

We connect Odoo with Claude AI and automate the repetitive work your people still do by hand. Not a generic chatbot: concrete flows that write real records into your own Odoo, with a person approving the exceptions.

Built on your Odoo, no new licences Your data stays in your instance A human approves the exceptions
One flow: vendor invoiceRuns in your Odoo

The gap

You have Odoo. A person still retypes.

None of this is a headcount problem. It is a connection problem. AI reads what arrives and drops a ready record into Odoo.

An invoice arrives as a PDF. Someone retypes vendor, amounts and number.

Invoices from PDF and emailA draft vendor bill, ready to approve.

A customer emails an order. Someone keys it into a quotation.

Email order to quotationA draft quotation in Sales, ready to send.

A helpdesk message waits until someone sorts it.

Ticket routingTopic, priority and the right agent in seconds.

What we automate

Six automations that pay off from week one.

Each one is a finished, measurable process. We ship them one at a time, starting where the manual work is heaviest.

Invoices from PDF and email

Claude pulls vendor, amounts and due dates into a draft vendor bill. The person just approves.

Accounting

Demand and purchase forecasting

Sales history, seasonality and stock become purchase suggestions. Less cash in overstock, fewer shortages.

Purchase

Ticket routing and priority

The AI sets topic, priority and the right agent, instead of a shared inbox waiting for triage.

Helpdesk

Email order to draft quotation

Products, quantities and contact details land in a draft quotation. Retyping becomes a quick review.

CRM and Sales

Production anomaly alerts

Delays, unusual material use, stoppages: the manager hears while the problem is small.

Manufacturing

Automatic narrative reports

Weekly or monthly, in plain language: what changed, what needs attention, what goes well.

Management
Built into Odoo

Odoo's own AI, set up in your apps.

Odoo has its own AI app. We set it up where it saves time and build with Claude where the standard stops. We use it daily, in our own work and in client projects.

AI agents

Give an agent a role, instructions and tools. It answers questions and completes tasks inside Odoo, such as creating a lead.

AI app

Answers from your documents

Agents learn from your PDFs, Documents, Knowledge articles and web links, and can be limited to those sources only.

Sources

Questions in plain words

Ask from anywhere in Odoo. The AI opens the right list or report, built from your own records.

Ask AI

AI fields and actions

Fields that fill themselves from a prompt, attached files or a web search, also inside automated actions.

Automation

Drafts, summaries, translations

Draft a reply, improve a text, summarise a long thread or translate a message, right in the chatter.

Chatter and email

Website chat agent

An AI agent in your live chat answers visitors and can create the lead in your CRM.

Live Chat

Odoo's agents run on ChatGPT or Gemini models, chosen per agent. Our custom flows above use Claude through the API.

How we implement

From a conversation to a working automation.

The first automation is ready 2 to 4 weeks after signing.

1

Map the processes

Where do you lose most time to manual work? We pick the best return for the effort. AI process audit

2

Design the flow

What the AI reads, what it creates in Odoo, where a person approves. You see it before any code.

3

Build and test

On real data from your business, with the accuracy measured before go-live.

4

Measure and expand

Time saved and quality, measured with you. Then the next process.

The stack

A proven stack, not an experiment.

No separate SaaS in the middle collecting your data. We do not sell AI licences; we build on the Odoo you already run.

OdooThe hub for data, workflow and approvals. Every AI result lands as a ready record in an Odoo app.
Claude AI by AnthropicDocument understanding, extraction, classification and drafting.
Python and the Odoo APIPicks up events in Odoo, calls Claude and writes the result back to the right record.

Your invoice, order and customer data stay in your instance. Only the fragments a task needs go to the API, and Anthropic does not train its models on commercial API data by default.

Part of the advisory can be funded.

German SMEs can use BAFA advisory funding: 50% in western states and Berlin, 80% in eastern states. Polish SMEs in manufacturing may qualify for Dig.IT (ARP). Both follow the official rules; we prepare the file and never guarantee an award.

Straight answers

What owners ask about AI in Odoo.

Does AI make mistakes?

Yes. That is why every flow has human approval for the exceptions: low confidence or an unusual value flags the record for review. The person stops doing the routine and handles the exceptions.

Does our data go to outside servers?

Everything runs against your own Odoo. The Claude API receives only the fragments a task needs, and we leave out personal data where it is not required. GDPR needs are scoped in the design.

What does it cost?

No new Odoo licences. A one-time build that depends on the complexity, plus Claude API usage billed per token, typically a small monthly amount for a small business. Upkeep is an optional retainer.

Do I need Odoo first?

Yes. The AI is an extension of Odoo. Without Odoo we start with the implementation and add automation once the business is ready, usually a few months after go-live.

What if the results disappoint?

After the first weeks live we measure time saved and quality together. If the results do not satisfy you, we tune the prompts at no extra cost.
